Q: How was the transition from middle school to high school?
A: “Yeah for sure it was a huge jump, like you were stuck with immature little kids and you were an immature little kid, and now you have to be mature now and you have to care about your grades, and it's a huge leap, and you have all these extracurriculars. It was from not having to worry about anything to this new transition from a little kid to someone who's mature now. “
Q: If your life was a TV show what would the theme song be?
A:” This is actually a pretty good question. Now we all know it’d be a song named “Topia Twins” by Travis Scott.”
Charlotte Brown (Freshman, She/Her)
Q: How was the transition from middle school to high school?
A: “It's definitely interesting, the bigger campus takes a lot getting used to, and there's a lot of space to explore, and different classes, and memorizing all of that. I also like a lot of the clubs; like it's very niche, but there's a lot of cool clubs here that they didn't have at Rio (Middle School) that I’m enjoying a lot.”

A: “Probably a very basic answer, but “The Perfect Day” from Legally Blonde.”

A: “4.0 GPA.”

A: “Definitely “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift.”

A: “To pass my AP exam and my honors English class.”

A: My goals for this year? Get straight A’s, get 5’s on the AP tests, and don’t break down… too much”

A: “It would be like one of those really loud one second guitar riffs that go ‘loud high pitched scream’ and then it would just start. No theme song.”
Elliot So (Junior, He/Him)
Q1: What are your goals for this upcoming school year?
A: “I'm just working constantly for my music festival- just trying to figure that out. Careerwise, I'm doing a couple of pathways and stuff like that. I actually do have a job at AV at my church right now. That's fun as well because I want to work in music and stuff like that when I'm older. I’m also checking out psychology as well and new stuff like that. “

A: “I think right now the song I’m thinking of is “Love You” by Westside Gunn. I was listening to that a couple of minutes ago. It's a really good song you should listen to it. I’m thinking of that song because I think it's awesome and it provides a nice mood, and I'm awesome and provide a nice mood.”

A: “Get into college…I’d like to go to UCLA but there's no way, I don’t think there's any way of getting in.”

Q1: What are your goals for this upcoming school year?
A: “Get into college, get straight A's, and have a little bit more fun than I thought I would in freshman year.”

A: “Definitely not BTS’s Dynamite. Something Queen related, cause I really like Queen, maybe “Bohemian Rhapsody” because it's so up and down. I think day to day there are a lot of ups and downs in life and I think it applies to everyone, and not just me so yeah “Bohemian Rhapsody.””
