Poll: Mr. Getz Banning Earphones At Valencia

Recently Valencia High School Principal, Pete Getz, announced a new plan to ban all earphones for students, starting in April. The plan aimed at getting students to be more focused in class and to prevent them from listening to inappropriate music during school hours. 

Junior Daniel Ro:

“Are you kidding me? That’s terrible, I really don’t like it. Some classes are really boring and I need something to pass the time, and I don’t get what he’s trying to accomplish.”

Sophomore Eliana Ventura:

“ What. There's no way. I’m trying to listen to music while I’m walking to class, that's really unfair.”

Sophomore Aiya Nakahara:

“Is that real? I’m not coming to school anymore.”

Freshman Ryan Kim: 

“Why should I care?”
