Breaking News! New Live-Action Toy Story Film in the Works

Walt Disney Pictures has finally announced that the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of Toy Story is in the works, which is expected to be released in theaters as early as February 2026. The 1995 film which tells the story of a cowboy doll’s world turning upside down when his owner gets gifted a new toy, will now be brought to life with an all-star cast bringing tons of joy to Disney fans all across the world.

Written and directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, Disney confirms that while the adaptation will maintain the classic’s authenticity, it will also introduce a new wave of action, filled with new enticing plot twists and charming characters to captivate the hearts of Disney fans.

Although the cast hasn’t been confirmed yet, multiple insiders revealed that Tom Holland will star as Woody, the beloved action figure. Rumors speculate that Henry Cavill is expected to play Buzz, the new doll and threat to Woody’s world. More information on the casting is yet to be revealed as the film starts production.
